Services in the Lumo One skyscraper guarantee a first-class resident experience
The Lumo One building in Kalasatama, Helsinki makes everyday life easy through a digital housing experience and diverse housing services.
The Lumo One homes are not just apartments; they offer an overall resident and living experience. This experience is built around the My Lumo service, through which all housing services can be easily ordered digitally. Therefore, you can personalise your living experience to your liking via the My Lumo service.
“We take into account the special features of the area and bring related services to the My Lumo service. The role of living services in the Lumo One building is even more important as the customer moves to the centre of Kalasatama's multidimensional services – or rather above them. Expectations for additional services are high, and we want to even exceed them with a digital service experience”, says Lauri Peltonen, Customer Relationship Unit Director at Lumo Homes.
The My Lumo service provides services that complement the experience of residency and living in a centralised way. The range of services is not static, but changes in accordance with our customers' needs and wishes. By way of example, it could be mentioned that the Lumo One's service offering includes, for example, cleaning services – weekly or monthly – common events as well as a personal appointed Lumo manager, who takes care of the residents' everyday life.
The gem of the Lumo One skyscraper is definitely the residents' shared living room on the 29th floor. The gorgeous communal space also includes rooms that can be booked separately, such as a banquet room, remote workstations and sauna facilities. The residents of the house can reserve the additional space they need in an agile way via the My Lumo service.
“Few people have, for example, baptisms or birthday parties every week, but when they do, almost everyone would like to have more space. Through the My Lumo service, you can organise an event by booking a common space of the apartment, which is one of the most spectacular spaces of the city”, Peltonen says.
The residents of the Lumo One building also have easy access to Kalasatama's diverse services.
The Lumo One building will have its own building manager who will take care of the residents' everyday life.
Seamless digital service experience
“The possibility of digital communality with other customers of the house is part of the service package of the My Lumo service. Lumo develops housing services by listening to customers' wishes, and many people who are interested in the Lumo One residency have emphasised the importance of communality”, says Anna Saarinen, Development Manager at Lumo Homes.
“In addition to the possibility of meeting other residents in common areas, the My Lumo service offers a digital communication channel”, Saarinen says.
Saarinen emphasises the seamless digital service package.
“For example, residents can book time to use the sauna in their building conveniently from their own sofa or even from another country at any time of the day,” Saarinen explains.
The reservation made through the My Lumo service activates the resident's key so it works in the common areas of the building. The sauna is also switched on automatically at the beginning of the reserved sauna shift, and it does not stay heated the whole evening if there is, for example, only one reservation for the evening.
“This also raises the question of responsibility, which means that resources are not used unnecessarily,” Peltonen says.
Lumo building manager is available to help in residents’ daily lives
Lumo One residents will be assisted by their own Lumo manager who will be responsible for the smooth everyday life of the residents.
“The building manager is an approachable, familiar person who helps solve challenges of residency and is happy to receive residents' ideas for developing the housing experience,” Peltonen says.
Close dialogue with the Lumo building manager is part of the Lumo One building's great sense of community. The Lumo One building emphasises doing things together. It appears in the residents' common living room, in the Lumo One building's living facilities and in the personal Lumo building manager. Living in the Lumo One skyscraper makes you part of the urban Lumo community.
