In early autumn 2018, 49 comfortable and conveniently sized urban homes were completed in Runosmäki. Riitasuonkatu 28's one and two-bedroom apartments have clear layouts and each apartment has either a French or retracted balcony. The apartments have a fresh, light-coloured look. The light grey tone of the power wall and the oak laminate flooring add a lively and warm atmosphere to the interior. The kitchens are fitted with white furniture and white glass in between. The kitchen worktops are made of light grey laminate. The kitchens have a dishwasher, microwave with oven function, induction hob, extractor hood and fridge-freezer. The two-bedroom apartments also have a white movable island. The bathrooms are light in colour with dark grey effects and have a shower cubicle.

The building has four floors and a lift. On the first floor there is a house sauna and a laundry room. There are heated parking spaces in the courtyard, which also has a seating area.

Runosmäki

Runosmäki is a district and residential area located approximately four kilometers north of Turku's city center. The journey to the bustling city center, with its diverse range of services, can be easily covered by bike or public transportation.

At the same time, the neighboring city of Raisio offers numerous specialty shops, and Varsinais-Suomi's largest shopping center, Mylly, is just a short bus or car ride away. Turku Airport is also quickly accessible from Runosmäki.

Tranquil Runosmäki

Runosmäki is a peaceful and traditional area of Turku. It is a large district in northern Turku with extensive local services. Varissuo is one of the youngest suburbs of Turku. Located on the east side of the city, it is the best-equipped suburb in Turku. The are plenty of services in Itäkeskus and the city centre is only about six kilometres away.

The services in the area include grocery stores, a library, a health centre, a social services office, a church, a youth centre, a kiosk and a post office. The sports facilities include a running trail, football fields, tennis courts and an indoor skating rink. There is a comprehensive school and an upper secondary school in Varissuo.

Lively Härkämäki
