The neighbourhood of Hermanni is officially divided into Hermanninmäki, Hermanninkylä and Kyläsaari.

Etelä-Hermanni is a fairly new district in the eastern part of central Helsinki. It celebrated its grand opening in 2012 after the State Veterinary Service and Food Research Institute were relocated.
