Jaakkola is a residential area south of Kerava station, built mainly between the 1990s and 2000s. Many people who have passed Kerava by train will recognise the houses of Jaakkola from the railway line.

Jaakkola serves well for both people using cars and people using public transport. It takes 10 minutes or less to walk to Citymarket and Prisma and 15 minutes to Kerava station. By car, you can reach the Lahti motorway in a couple of minutes.
