The sunny courtyard of Pyhtäänkorventie 25 was filled with smiles and laughter as Lumo residents gathered to relax and bond at the yard party, a collaborative idea of the property manager and the Lumo team leader.
Excitement was in the air as both parents and children were treated to a delightful array of activities. The Lumo Wheel of Fortune spun to everyone's delight, guaranteeing prizes for all. Meanwhile, the DJ kept the energy high with Finnish beats.
Food lovers were in for a treat. Hodarifillari's gourmet hot dogs, refreshing beverages, donuts, and ice cream cherished taste buds, and provided the perfect accompaniment to a sun-drenched summer day in good company.
The children were captivated by the juggling skills of the talented magician Matias Husgafvel. Adding to the excitement, the magician expertly crafted colorful balloon animals, delighting younger ones. A talented face painter turned the crowd into walking masterpieces, embellishing children and adults with vibrant face paints.
There is strength in working together
Based on last year's yard event Venetsialaiset, Lumo team leader Tarja Leppänen and property manager Janet Heiman were enthusiastic about creating a memorable gathering again.
"I am thrilled that we have been able to think and exchange thoughts with the property manager about different options regarding this event. Janet and I have excellent chemistry and mutual understanding. Our thoughts complement each other - one says what the other has just had time to think," Leppänen laughs.
"Such larger, multi-house parties bring people nicely together. There is strength in working together," Leppänen continues.
The joint summer party of Lumo residents was organized in the residents' yard at Pyhtäänkorventie 25. The residents of Pyhtäänkorvenkuja 4 and 6 and Pyhtäänkorventie 21 were also invited from the same neighborhood.
Lumo teams are groups of residents that organize fun events and activities for all of the building's residents. Your Lumo team is in charge of fun social activities at your building. Everyone is welcome to join the team – there are no restrictions on the number of members. Read more about the Lumo team here.
