What is the term of my tenancy agreement?

If you rent an apartment directly through the Lumo webstore

If you rent an apartment directly through the Lumo webstore, you can choose the start date of the tenancy agreement yourself. The tenancy agreement will be a non-fixed-term agreement. For most of our properties, the earliest possible start date of the notice period is five (5) months after the start of the tenancy agreement. For our newly constructed properties, the earliest possible start date of the notice period is after eleven (11) months. The notice period is one (1) month. This means that your tenancy agreement will be valid for at least six (6) or twelve (12) months. However, we hope you will stay with us for a long time!

If you sign a tenancy agreement some other way

If you find a home with the help of one of our sales representatives, for example, you will usually sign a non-fixed-term tenancy agreement. Also in this case, the agreement will include a provision concerning the earliest possible start date of the notice period, which means that you commit to staying in the apartment for at least six (6) months or twelve (12) months.
