Asola
Asola is a district of Vantaa, located between Korso and Koivukylä. The main railway runs along its eastern side and there are even three railway stations nearby, Koivukylä, Leinelä and Rekola.
Asola is a residential area with mostly single-family homes, which were built after the wars, when the area was planned out as frontline housing estates. A large number of new residential areas have sprung up along Asolanväylä in recent decades. The area's assets are the extensive wooded areas in the vicinity, which offer great opportunities for outdoor recreation and nature walks.
Rental apartment in Asola close to services and sports facilities
Asola's sports facilities will be further enhanced in the future with the construction of the Elmo Sports Park north of Asola. The new sports park will offer a wide range of sports facilities, including ball fields and an ice rink.
The nearest services are in the neighbouring area of Koivukylä, about a kilometre away. There are several large grocery stores in Koivukylä, as well as a library, a pharmacy and a hairdresser's. A kindergarten and Rekola school are within walking distance. Peijas hospital is also nearby.
