Completed in 1966 and reportedly the longest residential building in Kuopio, this property underwent an extensive renovation in 2005. The building comprises a total of 105 homes, ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments. Residents have access to shared facilities, including a laundry room with drying facilities, a clubhouse, bike storage, and a building sauna.
This Lumo property is located in the green and pleasant Puijonlaakso district. The area is best known for the nearby Puijo Tower and its excellent recreational opportunities. The Savisaari Equestrian Centre is only a short distance away.
In Puijonlaakso, nature is always close by: next to the large Puijo recreation area, with its nature trails and jogging paths, you can enjoy the outdoors. In Puijo you will also find, for example, a frisbee golf course, Konttilan Elämystila and Kuopio's most famous landmark, the Puijo Tower. There is a revolving restaurant at the top of the tower where you can enjoy a stunning view of the lake. Right next to the Puijonlaakso shopping centre is the renovated Sammakkolampi Park. The park has a swimming beach, an outdoor gym and a playground, as well as a dog park. You can also fish in the pond.
