Lotta keeps on running
The everyday life of hurdler Lotta Harala is busy and full of training. That’s why it’s important for her to have a place where she can stop for a moment: her home. After recharging, she is ready to speed towards new records.

Lotta’s “3 favourite things at home”
Location
“For my life, Kalasatama is the perfect location. You can get to a massage in the city centre in a jiffy, and towards the east, a few metro stops away is Liikuntamylly that has an indoor running track for training year-round. The nature, peace and quiet and jogging trails of Mustikkamaa Recreational Park start practically from outside my front door. And it doesn’t hurt having Shopping Centre Redi only a stone’s throw away.”
Light & space
“We have a lovely front and rear facing apartment that has plenty of windows so the light just floods in. The entire building is new so all surfaces of the apartment are clean and light, which makes our home seem even more light-filled and spacious. We haven’t painted any of the walls with an accent colour, at least not yet, even though Lumo would provide the paint.”
Functional layout
“I like to cook and spend a lot of time in the kitchen so it’s great that the kitchen is part of the spacious apartment and not a closed-off nook. The 66.5 square metres have enough room for two good-sized bedrooms. One of them is currently a walk-in closet – an athlete’s life includes quite a lot of different kinds of training equipment and stuff.”
