This Lumo building is in Simonkylä, a nice and green area, but still close to all the services in Tikkurila. From here it is easy to travel around the Helsinki area, or even further by train. A bus goes right near the house, and it takes you quickly to a grocery store or to Tikkurila center, which is also close enough to walk. There is a forest next to the house with walking paths and a jogging track. The area is green, peaceful, and pleasant.

Simonkylä is a quiet and green district in Vantaa, north of Tikkurila. The area consists of Simonmetsä, Simonkallio, Simonsilta and Malminniitty, with the some small residential areas in between.
Simonkylä has good transport connections: the Leinelä railway station, which is part of the Kehärata railway line, is close by and there you can take a commuter train to Helsinki city centre, for example, in about half an hour. There is also a convenient bus service to nearby areas and train stations, and the journey to Tikkurila, for example, takes about ten minutes.

Simonkylä is close to nature and has plenty of green areas: the large Simonkylä Park with its meadows and fields invites you to relax and go jogging, and the adjacent ponds serve as fishing spots. In winter, the jogging paths in Simonkylä Park are ploughed into ski tracks. The Möskäri artificial hill has a nice modern fitness track, fencing for dogs and, in winter, a sledding hill for children. Simonmetsä has a football and badminton pitch and a frisbee golf course, and Tikkurila Sports Park is not far away.
