Kaivoksela is a district in West Vantaa, east of Myyrmäki, right on the border between Vantaa and Helsinki. The Kaivoksela area includes an apartment block, a business area and the small suburbs of Silvola, Vaskipelto and Kaarenmäki.

Hämeenlinnanväylä, which runs through the area, connects Kaivoksela to both the surrounding areas and to cities further away: in addition to local traffic, buses between Helsinki, Hämeenlinna and Tampere stop in Kaivoksela. The bus from Kaivoksela to Helsinki city centre takes about half an hour.

The Myyrmäki railway station is only a few kilometres away, so the train also takes you to Helsinki or the airport, for example. It is also convenient to drive your own car in the area.

Myyrmäki can be reached by bike in no time at all, and even on foot it takes only twenty minutes.
