Hatanpää is a district south of the centre of Tampere, on the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi. The centre of Tampere is only a few kilometres away, and it is easy to get to the centre by bus, car or bike in no time.
Hatanpää is surrounded by water on three sides, so there is plenty of shoreline. The well-known district is home to the historic Hatanpää Manor, the lush Hatanpää Park and Hatanpää Hospital. There is also a school, a secondary school and a kindergarten in the area.
