This charming building has a convenient location with public transportation right outside the front door. Both trams and buses stop directly in front of the building, and Tampere city center is about 1 kilometer away.
The elevators were modernized in 2015, and the courtyard was renovated in 2008. Please note that there are stairs before reaching the elevators, so the building is not fully accessible. The facade renovation was completed in 2021.
Itsenäisyydenkatu 8 and Yliopistonkatu 39 share a beautiful green courtyard that provides a pleasant outdoor environment for residents.
Residents of Itsenäisyydenkatu 8 can use the laundry room and gym free of charge in the neighboring building at Yliopistonkatu 39.
