All balconies in the property are currently out of use. The restriction is valid as a precaution to ensure residents’ safety. It is based on a warning issued by the Finnish Safety Investigation Authority regarding the use of fibre cement panels in balcony railings. A rent compensation of 5% of the monthly rent will be applied for the period during which the balcony is unavailable. Residents will be informed as inspections and any necessary repairs progress, and once the balconies can be safely used again. Modern renovated Lumo apartments were completed in October 2019 in the Kaleva area, close to a wide range of services and green parks.

Ilmarinkatu 44 is a four-story building without an elevator and has 28 apartments, ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments.

The apartments have a bright and modern design. The floors are covered with light beige-grey laminate, and the walls are painted white.

The kitchens include an induction stove, oven, fridge-freezer, and cooker hood. Apartments also have a dishwasher, with the size depending on the apartment type. The bathrooms include a connection for a washing machine.

Studio apartments have a combined walk-in closet and utility room. Two-room and three-room apartments have glass-enclosed balconies. Studio apartments do not have balconies.

Residents have access to several shared facilities located in the basement, including private storage units, a laundry room, a drying room, a club room, a gym, a washing room, and bicycle storage.

The sauna area was renovated in 2015.
