Residents have access to several shared facilities free of charge, including a shared laundry room, drying room, storage for bicycles and outdoor equipment, a club room, and a gym. The laundry room is located on the ground floor of Building G, and the gym is located on the ground floor of Building I.
Each apartment includes private storage space in both the attic (not heated) and the basement (heated).
The building also has a sauna area, which was renovated in spring 2018.
Several major renovations have been completed over the years. The balconies and façade were renovated between 2019 and 2020. The kitchens were renovated in 2006, the elevators were modernized in 2003, the windows were replaced, the bathrooms were tiled in 2001, and a plumbing renovation was completed in 1999.
The building was originally built in 1957.
The three-story sections of the building (stairwells A–K) do not have elevators. The seven-story section (stairwells L–M) has an elevator. Please note that the elevator starts from the first residential floor rather than the entrance level, so the building is not fully accessible.

Hatanpää is a district south of the centre of Tampere, on the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi. The centre of Tampere is only a few kilometres away, and it is easy to get to the centre by bus, car or bike in no time.
Hatanpää is surrounded by water on three sides, so there is plenty of shoreline. The well-known district is home to the historic Hatanpää Manor, the lush Hatanpää Park and Hatanpää Hospital. There is also a school, a secondary school and a kindergarten in the area.

The large Ratina shopping centre is particularly close by, with a good selection of specialist shops, services and eateries. The bus from Hatanpää is conveniently located right in front of the shopping centre.
