This apartment building is located in an excellent location in the center of Tampere, with shops, services, and city attractions close by.
Residents have access to several shared facilities. These include a sauna located in a separate building in the courtyard, private storage units, a storage room for bicycles and outdoor equipment, and a shared laundry room located in a separate courtyard building. There is also a shared club room located on the ground floor of Satakunnankatu 32–34 and a gym located on the ground floor of entrance C at Puuvillatehtaankatu 15.
The building was originally completed in 1952 and does not have an elevator. A major renovation was carried out in 1994, and the windows were replaced in 2004. Balcony, facade, and roof renovations were completed in 2022.

The popular green neighbourhood of Amuri is located in Tampere’s western city centre, next to Hämeenpuisto park.
Amuri has a wide range of services thanks to its proximity to the city centre. From Amuri, you can get to the city centre and all the way to Hervanta on the new Tampere tramway. The tram journey from Pyynikintori to Tampere Central Station takes only 8 minutes. The same distance can be covered in about 15 minutes by bus and less than half an hour by foot.
Amuri’s local attractions include the main library Metso, Tampere Art Museum and the Amuri Museum of Workers’ Housing, which has a rich heritage. Amuri is a short distance from Pyynikki, where you can enjoy magnificent views of Villilänsalmi in Lake Pyhäjärvi as well as excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation, including a beach and the Pyynikki Summer Theatre.
