Alun perin vuonna 1951 rakennetuun taloon valmistui kesän 2024 peruskorjauksessa yhteensä 24 kotia yksiöistä kolmioihin. Kodit asettuvat kaksiportaiseen nelikerroksiseen taloon. Talossa ei ole hissiä.
Talo henkii viehättävää vanhanajan tunnelmaa. Leveät ikkunapenkit ja väljät pohjaratkaisut antavat kodeille ihan omanlaisen säväyksen. Peruskorjauksen myötä asukkaat pääsevät nauttimaan myös täysin uudistetuista kodin pinnoista.
Talon monipuoliset yhteistilat sijaitsevat kellarikerroksessa. Pyykkihuolto sujuu kätevästi talopesulassa ja kuivaushuoneessa. Saunaosastolla pääset nauttimaan löylyistä ja yhteisessä käytössä on myös kerhotila. Ulkoiluvälinevarasto ja huoneistokohtaiset irtainvarastot tuovat kaivattua lisätilaa säilytykseen. Autopaikat sijaitsevat talon sisäpihalla. Paikat on varustettu lämmityspistokkeilla ja osassa paikoista on myös sähköauton latausmahdollisuus.
Tämän Lumo-talon sijainti on loistava, sillä alue on rauhallinen, mutta samalla kuitenkin aivan keskustan tuntumassa lähellä kaikkia palveluita. Päivittäiset ostokset hoituvat lähikaupassa kivenheiton päässä. Kulkuyhteydet ovat myös toimivat. Bussit kulkevat kohteen edestä ja Jyväskylän matkakeskus on n. 1,4 km päässä. Alueelta löytyy suomenkielinen peruskoulu, lukio ja päiväkoteja. Kohde sopii hienosti esimerkiksi opiskelijoille, sillä Jyväskylän ammattikorkeakoulu sijaitsee kohdetta vastapäätä ja yliopistokin löytyy kävelymatkan päästä.
Viitaniemen uimarannan puistoalue ja Tourujoen luontopolku sijaitsevat noin kilometrin päässä kohteesta. Kilometrin säteeltä löytyy myös kuntoilukeskuksia, Harjun stadion, liikuntapuisto, uimaranta ja frisbeegolf-rata. Keskustan alueelta löytyy monipuolinen kulttuuritarjonta ja useita ravintoloita.
