Apartment building in the Pajala area of Järvenpää. The building’s major renovation and façade refurbishment were completed in 2014. During the renovation, the kitchens, bathrooms and apartment surfaces were renewed. Residents have access to a free laundry room located at Sauvakatu 6.
A new Lidl grocery store and a fitness trail are located just a stone’s throw from the building. Kartano school, the swimming hall and the ice rink can be reached in just a few minutes. In addition, a new padel and floorball hall has recently been completed next to the swimming hall. The Pajala area also offers a music institute and numerous other leisure and hobby opportunities.

Pajala
The neighbourhood of Pajala is located about a kilometre from the centre of Järvenpää. It has its own primary and secondary schools and grocery stores.
Pajala is an example of re-zoned and more densely built-up urban structure. Old industrial buildings were demolished to make way for tens of new apartment buildings. The attractive Westermarck park was left between the buildings for local residents to enjoy the outdoors and spend time with their children.
Pajala has excellent opportunities for various sports: the local indoor swimming pool, indoor skating rink and tennis courts are located in the area.
