This Lumo house is located next to Rastila metro station and near the Rastila campsite. There are a total of 200 modern and stylish homes. The two impressive high-rise buildings were completed in phases, with the 7-storey building (D-G -stairwells) completed in November 2017 and the 9-storey building (H-I -stairwells) in January 2018.
The buildings have good storage facilities, a common club room for residents, the Lumo-lounge, sauna facilities and a free laundry room and drying rooms. Lumo residents can also jump behind the wheel of the shared cars, of which there are two in the area. One of the cars is a van and the other is a sedan.
About the area
Rastila
Rastila is a fast-growing neighbourhood in Vuosaari, East Helsinki, right by the metro line. Rastila is filling up with apartment buildings and in the next couple of years it will become a modern area of urban living.
Rastila is close to nature and the metro provides excellent connections to the city centre. At the same time, cross traffic goes through Malmi all the way to Myyrmäki. Many of the Lumo rental apartments in Rastila are located in bright new Lumo buildings that combine an excellent location with proximity to nature.

The area with its old and new buildings, great services by the metro line and Vuotie, as well as a beautiful camping site and a beach, is comfortable and suited for residents in many different stages of life. There are several schools and day-care centres nearby. The beach at the camping site can be enjoyed in the summer, but it is also open for ice swimming in the winter.
