Suurpelto is a unique and developing residential area, centrally located between Henttaa, Olari and Mankkaa in Espoo. Situated along Turunväylä and Kehä II highways, Suurpelto is easily accessible by bus or car from places such as Matinkylä, Olari, Tapiola and Helsinki. In addition, the nearby Matinkylä and Tapiola metro stations offer smooth transport connections to Helsinki and the railway line.

Nearly one third of the park-like residential area of Suurpelto is zoned for parks and recreation. There are also many fields and parks around Suurpelto. For example, the huge Espoo Central Park next door offers endless wooded jogging and outdoor trails for all ages. A grassy field with football pitches and volleyball courts also offers sports opportunities.

The range of services in the ever-evolving Suurpelto will grow significantly in the future, but the area already has everything you need: the Suuris shopping centre offers a variety of services and shops, including a grocery store, gym and restaurants. More services can be found within a short bus ride, for example in Matinkylä in the Iso Omena shopping centre.
The Opinmäki campus, which serves as a centre for education and leisure, is also located in the area. Opinmäki has a Finnish- and English-speaking primary school, a kindergarten, sports facilities and a library. There are no less than four other kindergartens in the area.
